Responsible to creating in game weapon assets from pistols to rocket launchers, and
blades to bows:
-Creating concept art weapons from scratch. from high Polly models to low in game
meshes, using Maya.
-Amending concepts to better fit in game functionality.
-Bake textures from high poly meshes to low poly in game meshes.
-Create unique texture maps from texture bakes in Substance Painter.
-Apply technical art (rigging, vertex painting, vertex animation etc) to asset if needed.
-Implement weapon mesh and texture into proprietary game engine.
-Create visual effects like holo ui, glowing or moving effects using proprietary game
engine editor.
-Playtest weapon asset in game for bugs or mesh errors.
Been doing freelance 3D art since 2015, for both corporate and private 3D projects. From small 3D props, 2D textures and full in engine environments.
